Julio Kohji Shiiki is an award-winning graphic designer from Montevideo, Uruguay. In 1996, he moved to Japan and worked in the newspaper industry for several years. He won prizes at SND (Society for News Design), a worldwide newspaper design competition held in New York.

In 2007, starts his career as art director of Metropolis, a lifestyle magazine in Tokyo published for the international community in Tokyo.

Since 2011, he also provides print and web design services on a freelance base. Multiculturalism / multilingual projects which involves editorial, design and photography are his favorite subjects to work with. Apart from his native Spanish, he have done projects in Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese and Portuguese.
