About

Julio Kohji Shiiki is an award-winning graphic designer from Montevideo, Uruguay. In 1996, he moved to Japan and worked in the newspaper industry for almost a decade. He won prizes at SND (Society for News Design), a worldwide newspaper design competition held in New York.

In 2007, started his career as art director of Metropolis, a lifestyle magazine published for the international community in Tokyo.

Since 2011, he also provides photography and video services. Multiculturalism / multilingual projects are his favorite subjects to work with. He have done projects in Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese and his native Spanish.
